I continue to advocate on behalf of children to enrich their educational lives.

I am available for school and library visits. In addition to a book reading, I develop a lesson(s) geared to the age and ability levels of the students. My lessons incorporate the educational and social-emotional values that enrich student performance. My BLOG includes articles and videos from other informational and research-based sites, such as Edutopia and Education World. All of my posts will discuss the progressive side of education and best practices. Some of the material capitalizes on the necessity to direct the classroom culture toward project-based learning, incorporating STEAM and Howard Gardner’s Eight (Nine) Intelligences.

Speaking engagements and consultations highlight the above mentioned, along with how to use literature to engage student learning and encourage the development of an integrated curriculum. Multi-disciplinary unit instruction aligning all subject areas, from core to encore is featured, as well. Promoting lessons using the Common Core proponents are included on my webpage. Another key component to my visits is how to differentiate, in order to reach all students at all ability and motivational levels.
